The Story
Per discovered dragracing at a young age and in the mid-eighties he raced with a Chevelle 69´.
2003
Raced with a Chevelle SS 70´ in Bracket.
2004
Bought and raced with the very popular black Chevelle 66´.
2005
Champion of the Scandinavian dragracing-series with the Chevelle.
2006
Bought the Challeger 70´ that he since then raced in the Top Doorslammer-class. The team ended up at 4th place in the series.
2007
3rd place in TSDS
2008
Ran only three races and ended up in 10th place.
2009
The team took time off from racing.
2010
Made a comeback in Top Doorslammer but the season went to history as the shakiest season ever. A new engine in an old chassis turned out to be a less fortunate combination and we struggled with tire shakes all summer. At our disappointment we never got it right in competition and at the finals in Sundsvall we were desperate to make it happen before we closed the season. The race was over and Pierre Rydberg had, well deserved, won the series. The sun started to set as we lined up for our second test round and at the last round of the season Per finally shot down the track and could collect a personal best. The hard work finally paid off but unfortunately right after the season was over.
